Press Reviews
After her solo Bach programme of sonatas and partitas in Carnegie Hall, New York, renowned reviewer, HARRIS GOLDSMITH of STRAD and MUSICAL AMERICA lauded Ms Koshka's elegantly persuasive style. ''she favours a lean, silvery tone, (with sparing use of vibrato) and often conjures a long, curvaceous line. Her violinism refreshingly devoid of bombast or crassness. ''
STRAD
'kudos to violinist Anakay Koshka for... expert... playing... grace and charismatic presence. ''
NEW YORK SIGHTLINES
A rare event took place last week in Bulgaria Hall-a concert of the highest quality for an excellent cause. The young and very talented English violinist. Anakay Koshka, displayed her impressive skills in the concert hall, donating the proceeds to help mentally handicapped children in the Vidrare Orphanage. She was aided by the British Ambassador and his family.
The concert included works by Handel, Wienawski and the contemporary English composer Wilkins, but the highlight of the evening was a performance of the Bach solo sonata in G minor, a work rarely played because of its intense difficulty but in Bulgaria Hall given a superb performance. All participants, players, audience and children had reason to feel pleased about the success of the evening.

SPELLBOUND BY A BRILLANT VIOLINIST
Having attended the first concert on Wednesday, 1st October, at St Luke's Church given by Anakay Koshka, the brilliant young violinist, I, like the rest of the audience was spellbound. This is a violinist with a great future, having already travelled to many parts of the world giving recitals. Her intonation and performance was brilliant; the applause at the end showed how much it was appreciated. An acclaimed and accomplished young violinist not to be missed.
JERSEY EVENING POST
Anakay Koshka, internationally celebrated violinist again dazzled her audience in the second of two Bach solo programmes. Her communication with her audience was spell-binding. Only rarely does an artist surmount the formidable technical challenges of Bach's music with such ease and communicate so successfully the beauty of these musical gems. The quality of her playing is recognized increasingly in the music world where it has drawn unstinting praise from many reviewers. She further delights in exploring the extensive repertoire available to the violin. The range of works performed by her each year is immense. Increasingly she is in demand as a soloist, having appeared many times in this role. Her name often features in the concert schedules of the principal festivals and societies and she regularly gives concerts abroad. When artists of the calibre of Anakay Koshka appear, it is indeed a very special occasion.

ADSCENE
Rising Star, Anakay Koshka. Described as ''immensely gifted'', this ''celebrated young artist'' proved, however, in a concert organized by Wisbech Music Society, that she is every bit as talented as her publicity suggests. Her playing of four romantic pieces, Op 75 by Dvorak, was lusciously lyrical and its finale was performed with great intensity.
Contrastingly, however, Beethoven's Sonata Op 12 No 1 was highlighted by some rasping and rapid notation, and the final movement's vitality and verve were projected with consummate skill.
But the best was reserved for last. Brahms Sonata No 1, a romantic and lyrical work, showed to great effect, the potency of the violin's lower register, and its lilting and expansive finale left me, and I'm sure many others, emotionally drained. Ms. Koshka is, without doubt, a musical star in the making.

Music lovers, treated to a fascinating recital of Bach's solo works. Brilliance on the violin displayed by one of Britain's finest musicians. Anakay's triumph, a fascinating recital of Bach's solo violin works. Ms Koshka's presentation of a highly challenging programme was considered and always technically assured, her ability to convey the sense of fugue being particularly impressive. The atmosphere was brilliant. Credit should go to Ms Koshka for bringing a recital of such quality to Whitstable.

HERNE GAZETTE
Music for the Fringe. The Marlowe Theatre Club deserves congratulation for including a violin and piano recital of music by the three Bs, Bach, Beethoven and Brahms. The excellent performance by Anakay Koshka, was well worth hearing, with her good tone and intonation, and above all with her expressive phrasing. Nimble fingers on the violin strings with graceful ease, while the bow moved rhythmically with varying pressure to produce a wide range of dynamics, from a delicate pianissimo to a strong resonant forte. Anakay put her heart and soul into making music, that, clearly gave her great enjoyment, and she succeeded in conveying her joy to the listeners. A lyrical piece by Dvorak, reflecting the composer's admiration for Brahms made an appropriate encore.
