All the Gods give their powers to the Supreme Goddess Jagad-dhatri. She is the one who holds the Universe. May we always worship the beautiful lotus feet of the beautiful lotus Supreme Goddess Jagad-dhatri, who is smiling like a lotus flower. Her red dress and skin is like the rising sun. Yogi Narada Muni and his followers are all worshiping her. She is all. She is Brahman.
Individual artistic expression using improvisation and the importance of performing Indian music.
The philosophy of worshiping the supreme Mother Goddess Jagad-dhatri.
"Everything is in the mind" how and why. Consciousness and lack of consciousness.
Quotes and discussion of the ancient Vedic texts and Upanisads.
www.violinistanakaykoshka.com Ms. Koshka has from childhood improvised music of all styles. She has taken a keen interest in all Indian music where the violin takes such an important role.
"To Whom it may concern,
"I am writing on behalf of Ms Koshka, a world renowned violinist with residence in London, who organizes a series of concerts ought to be performed by her (Indian Group,) For those concerts Ms Koshka has booked a number of high rank concert venues, among many others our Moravian Church Hall in London. She has booked our hall for every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evening from end of February to the end of May. I have listened to recorded music of the group and I would judge it as a high profile music. Thanking you in advance, Yours Sincerely, Minister Moravian Church. The British Province of the Unitas Fratrum (Moravian Church)".
For three weeks Ms Koshka studied with an authentic Indian group of musicians. With much interest from the press. Playing in many of the Indian Festivals in London and private functions. During this time she learned many of the songs, and became acquainted with the poetry and songs of Tagore. Combining the spiritual progress of every individual with The Supreme Goddess Devi. With the direction of musical perfection, and making music as an offering for The Supreme Personality of Godhead Sree Sree Ma Jagad-dhatri.
Poem by Rabindra Nath Tagore XXXV111.
That I want thee- let my heart repeat without end. All desires that distract me, day and night, are false and empty to the core.

Introduction and brief description of the Gods and Goddesses. Various schools of thought. Faith. Suggestions. Discussion on Vedic texts and understanding them.
To preserve, maintain.
The Sanskrit meaning of the name Visnu is to enter, settle, coming from the root Vis translating 'The All Pervading One' Vishnu, The Supreme Personality Of Godhead. He has the color of the pure blue sky and he is holding with his four lotus hands a beautiful pink lotus flower, mace, conch shell and chakra. His beautiful lotus face smiling with beautiful lotus eyes, purifying our souls and giving us his blessings. His broad chest is the abode of Lakshmi his consort. Her four hands represents the Vedas. She is associated with the lotus.
Krishna The Supreme Personality Of Godhead comes from the Sanskrit meaning all attractive. He has blue skin and often he is playing his flute, his two handed form (Syamasundara) is the one most loved by his pure devotees.
To create.
The God Brahma (not to be confused with Brahman) means truth. He creates. He has four heads these represent the four Vedas. Brahman means absolute reality.
To destroy negativity in order to maintain peace.
The Sanskrit of Shiva (Devanagari Siva) meaning auspicious, pure one. Rudra a form of Shiva, is called 'The Archer' (Sanskrit: Sarva) and the arrow is an essential attribute of Rudra. Sanskrit root Sarv means injure or to kill, meaning 'One who can kill the forces of darkness'. So Shiva is The Pure One, who kills the forces of darkness. Shiva is the calming power that calms the Goddess Kali.
The worship of Shiva is in the form of a lingam or linga, and linga means a sign or symbol. Viewed as a form of male energy. (It is however The Great Mother Jagad-dhatri who is able to calm the heat from the linga by containing the linga).
The linga being a column, pillar or mountain is in asceticism reaching up, to the pure direction of spiritual liberation.
Therefore the linga a form of Lord Shiva, male energy, has two purposes, either to create a child only as an offering for God in marriage and then for the child to be educated to also worship God. Once the child or children have been made we return to celibacy to preserve the seed of vital energy to make tapas, so that we become spiritually liberated.
Celibacy.
The other purpose is that the linga does not spill seed at any time, this energy goes up from the base to the top of the 'pillar' either in terms of the human spine, or in terms of the pillar or mountain, Lord Shiva and reaches spiritual liberation, going up towards God, (The Heavens). This (again like in all the other similar theories in the Vedas), gives us the instruction that we only create a child for holy reasons and the rest of the time is spent in celibacy. The other path is that, if we chose not to create at all, then we are always celibate. This means that we preserve our seed at all times, meaning that we are celibate at all times, our energy becomes hot 'tapas' like the heat or fire of Lord Shiva and we are spiritually liberated and our energies become pure. Lord Shiva is pure. (In short this means that we are celibate before we procreate and celibate after we have made each child. Or we chose not to procreate at all and we are celibate throughout our entire life). This applies to both male and female.
Quantum theory. Energy. Ma Jagad-dhatri becoming The Supreme Goddess.
Ma Jagad-dhatri is all. She is Brahman.
The Sanskrit meaning of the Goddess Jagad-dhatri, Jagad meaning world and dhatri meaning hold and mother, nurse. [The mother (egg) nurses the embryo, (egg) holds (dhatri) everything, (jagad) (world), the world also meaning Universe, meaning everything), The Universe or world is the smallest atom to the largest cluster or group of atoms, energy, both material and spiritual, solid and liquid, air, ether, which is quantum theory]. She is The Supreme Goddess. She is the mother, protector and most powerful Goddess of the universe who destroys all evil, (powers that were given to her from all the Gods). She is The Divine Mother, Devi. (Devi means Goddess. Div means shine). She is the combination of Durga, Saraswati and Lakshmi, the Goddess Of Fortune who is an aspect or guise of Maya.
(Yogamaya power of illusion). The meaning of Durga is 'Durgatinashini' which literally translates into 'the one who removes sufferings'. The Sanskrit word Durga means a fort or a place that is protected and thus difficult to reach. The Goddess Durga sakti, who is the absolute truth becomes or changes into the greatest power The Supreme Goddess Jagad-dhatri.
Ida shakti feminine energy through left and pingala shakti masculine energy through right. Kundaline shakti energy to flow upwards to the crown chakra and merge with God.
The Sanskrit word for delusion, moha, comes from a root meaning to lose consciousness, The Divine Goddess is infinite consciousness. When we pray our mistaken thoughts of feeling incomplete, rejection from others and sorrow is removed, and we feel loved by The Infinite Supreme Being. We feel much better.
Description of Sree Sree Ma Jagad-dhatri.
Sree Sree Ma Jagad-dhatri is sitting on a lion dressed in red, she is extremely beautiful, happy and smiling like a lotus flower, giving us her love, protection and blessings. She has three large beautiful eyes. She is holding a conch shell, chakra, bow, and arrow. The sound that emanates from a conch is the sound of the sacred syllable AUM, which is said to be the sound of creation. She is The Mother of the Vedas. She is all knowledge, wealth, protection, strength, creation, and power (spiritual and material), all come from her. She is everything. She is Sakti. She is the light of many billions of suns. She possesses the principal necessary for development of the cosmic egg (the egg from which creation was born).
All the Gods and Goddesses give their power to the Supreme Goddess Jagad-dhatri.
An important theory, is that, all the Gods united together to produce the Devi, (shining light), who became The Supreme Goddess, in order to destroy evil and return the cosmos to peace. Thus meaning, she has all of the individual powers of the individual Gods in her. She is all of the Gods. She is The Supreme Goddess Sree Sree Ma Jagad-dhatri. She is all which is everything. She is food which is the material world and everything material and she is everything spiritual in the spiritual world. She is the greatest power and supreme absolute truth. She is therefore Brahman. All forms come from her.
Mahisha, a great demon, has undertaken extraordinary austerities, and thereby achieving such a huge power that even the Gods can no longer defeat him, they lose the three worlds to him and the cosmic order of the Universe is thrown into chaos. The Gods arrange a meeting where they simultaneously offer their own individual powers back to their common source, that source being the Supreme Goddess Jagad-dhatri.
Goddess Durga who is Shakti, takes the shape of Mahisasura mardini, by taking all the powers of all the Gods, she departs on her lion to meet the demon, a battle of nine days and nights ensues, during which Goddess Durga challenged the demon and decimates Mahisha's armies and destroyed the demon Mahisasura, by using other Goddesses, and Goddess Kali produced from her own body.
Now that peace has returned Goddess Durga changes into the mature Goddess Jagad-dhatri with all the power and wisdom.
Mahis means buffalo. Asura means demon. Mardini means the destroying.
Text from Durga Saptashati Chapter 2.
An exceedingly fiery mass like a flaming mountain did the Gods see, filling the firmament with flames. That peerless splendor, born from the bodies of all the Gods, unifying and pervading the triple world with its lustre, became a woman.

The Great Goddess who protects Brahma. Chapter 1 Durga Saptashati. Discussion on text in brackets.
'She is eternal, embodied as the Universe. By her all this is pervaded. Nethertheless she incarnates in manifold ways; hear it from me. When she manifests herself in order to accomplish the purposes of the devas, she is said to be born in the world, though she is eternal. At the end of a kalpa when the universe was one ocean (with the waters of the deluge) and the adorable Lord Vishnu stretched out on Sesa and took the mystic slumber, the terrible asuras (demons) the well known Madhu and Kaitabha, sprung into being from the wax of Vishnu's ears, and sort to slay Brahma'.
'With a view to awakening Hari (Vishnu), Brahma with concentrated mind extolled Yoganidra, dwelling in Hari's eyes (appeared as Sleep in the eyes of Vishnu). The resplendent Lord Brahma extolled the incomparable Goddess of Vishnu, Yoganidra, the queen of cosmos, the supporter of the worlds, the cause of the sustenance and dissolution alike (of the Universe). Brahma said: 'O great Mother! you are indeed the Supreme Isvari, beyond high and low, let Vishnu be awakened to slay these asuras'. There the Devi of delusion extolled thus by Brahma, the creator, in order to awaken Vishnu for the destruction of the demons, drew herself out from every part of Vishnu's body, and appeared before Brahma. Janardana (Vishnu) Vishnu rose.'
Discussion on text.
(Meaning Brahma prayed to her, The Supreme Goddess Jagad-dhatri to save him. The Supreme Goddess is also known as Yoganidra, and Isvari. Isvari meaning Goddess and more specifically Goddess of Consciousness.
Yoganidra, Yoga Nidra meaning yogic sleep. The true Yoga Nidra is a state of consciousness in which the yogi is in direct communion with the Divine energy. Vishnu the sleeping Lord was in this state.
It is important to note, that the Devi drew herself out from every part of Vishnu's body, meaning that, she is the greatest power. Vishnu was acting on behalf of The Devi of Delusion.
To briefly finish the story. Battle took place and eventually the demons impressed by Vishnu's skill in fighting, wanting to tease him and give him a small break asked him if he would like a boon. Vishnu took the boon.
Of course they were deluded by their own power, as all power comes from the Goddess. By offering Vishnu a boon, Vishnu took the boon to have them killed. This was their mistake created by the Goddess and they lost their lives.
In other words, they were deluded by the Supreme Goddess Jagad-dhatri, because she gave power to Vishnu, to lift them out of the water on to his loins in order to slay them. It did not occur to them that they could be lifted out of the water, or that they had made a mistake in their perception. They did not see past the illusion in front of them).
Back to text.
'Deluded by Mahamaya. The demons explained to Vishnu, 'Ask a boon from us.' Lord Vishnu said, 'you must be slain by me now.' The asuras bewitched by Mahamaya, gazing then at the entire world turned into water, said. 'Slay us at the spot where the earth is not flooded with water'. Lord Vishnu took them on his loins and severed their heads with his discus. Then she Mahamaya appeared when praised by Brahma. Now listen again the glory of this Devi that I will tell you'. Chapter 1 Durga Saptashati.
Discussion on text.
(The Goddess Mahamaya is also the same Goddess Jagad-dhatri. Maya means delusion. Yogamaya means illusion).
Further texts on the Devi.
Rig Veda Creation Hymn Nasadiya. 10.129. With discussion on text in brackets.
'Darkness was HIDDEN by darkness in the beginning.
(Meaning we are blind by illusion).
'With no distinguishing sign, all this was water'.
(As stated in many other ancient texts, like the theory of Vishnu lifting the demons out of the water and slaying the demons on his loins. Vishnu knew that the demons were deluded by the Goddess, and he was simply acting on her behalf).
'The life force that was covered with emptiness'.
(Natural methane gas)
'That one AROSE through the power of heat.'
(Meaning, when we worship, fast, and create tapas. Which is our heat in our soul. We see past illusion, because the Goddess ARISES through the power of heat, created by our own tapas from dry fasting. Removing the illusions in our minds).
'Poets seeking in their HEART with wisdom found the BOND of existence in non existence'.
(Meaning we find the BOND by constantly worshiping the Goddess in our HEARTS. Who is Yogamaya illusion, and she appears to us removing our blindness the 'non existence'. In other words she naturally shows herself to us and shows us truth and we can ask her for help and to be bonded with her permanently.)
Other quotes from the Rig Veda. Discussion in brackets.
'In the beginning the Golden Embryo arose'. Rig Veda 10.121 line 1.
(This can mean shining light, sakti, energy materially and spiritually. This can mean The Goddess Durga as absolute truth which is Brahman, which contains male and female (as one) who 'arose' to change into the greatest power, who is The Supreme Goddess Jagad-dhatri that protects the Universe. Meaning she is everything).
Energy. Tapas. Quantum Theory. Discussion on Rig Veda 10.190 line 1
'Order and truth were born from heat as it blazed up'. Rig Veda 10.190
(There are many different meanings here. 'Order' can represent the Gods Shiva and Vishnu, and 'Truth' can represent the God Brahma. The Sanskrit meaning of Brahma is truth, reality.
This can also mean that The Supreme Goddess 'order and truth' was 'born from the heat' or energy of the Gods 'as it blazed up'.
This also means we too as mortals are creating and preserving positive energy, 'tapas' 'heat' through asceticism.
We can think about, and relate these thoughts and texts to the 'big bang theory'. There are small 'big bangs' and indeed large 'big bangs'! These take place all the time, and in all sorts of ways. An explosion can take place within a room, within an atom, or an even smaller unit, and we would not even necessarily be aware of it. This is the Quantum Theory process).
(Please see web page on development of Goddess Jagad-dhatri.)
The Supreme Goddess Jagad-dhatri is the same energy as Brahman. More quotes.
'I am the kingdom which gives prosperity to all. I know all and my empire is immense. The Gods have given me numerous dwellings and I live everywhere'. Devi-sukta of the Rig-Veda.
'From me is born everything that eats, sees, breaths and hears. Those that ignore me are destroyed, so meditate carefully on what I say: I am the joy of the Gods as well as of men. I can give everything that which he desires, I fight for the people, I am present in the earth and sky and give birth to the father.' Rig-Veda.
Discussion on text in brackets.
(The Supreme Goddess Jagad-dhatri is Brahman, as she was and is there always, she is all, absolute reality. The Sanskrit meaning of Brahman is absolute reality. However she incarnates herself through many births, when the demons cause the universe problems. She removes the demons and she is the greatest power).
(Please See web page on development of Goddess Jagad-dhatri).
The pure pink, pure white beautiful lotus flower.
The pure beautiful pink or white lotus flower grows up out of the mud and water but it is untouched by the mud and water. The soul (the individual jiva) which goes through the process of mud and water. By praying and worshiping, the soul becomes pure by the blessings of Sree Sree Ma Jagad-dhatri The Supreme Goddess and Visnu The Supreme Personality Of Godhead. Thus the soul becomes completely pure, always worshiping Sree Sree Ma Jagad-dhatri and Visnu, (Krsna), Forever always.
Yogi Narada Muni.
The great Yogi Narada Muni spent his time always worshiping The Supreme Goddess, with absolute dedicated discipline. Yogi Narada Muni is our example to follow. That is to worship God, to always remember that God can do anything and that God is the cause of everything. This is the most important knowledge we need to absorb and continually remember.
Remembering and thinking of Sree Sree Ma Jagad-dhatri at all times. (Time is the unseen formless aspect created by the Mother Devi). Her form of Sree Sree Ma Jagad-dhatri can be imagined with the mind, sitting within ones own heart and also sitting next to ones own individual self.
This mental activity and the memory of The Goddess causes calm, removes negativity and our consciousness is with God.
God Consciousness becomes heaven, is heaven. Heaven is God consciousness. (Not the material world as we know it). This also means, that in that moment, we are actually spiritually with God, even when we are in the form of a mortal. Being with God, is having crossed the ocean, and in heaven. Heaven can be a state of mind.
The Holy Triad and the true meaning of religion.
The Hindu school of thought is the God Brahma to create, Shiva to destroy in order to purify and Vishnu to preserve the power of peace. They all worship the Mother Devi Jagad-dhatri. This can also be thought of as Jesus, Mohammad and Krishna. Although we are not always aware of it we all worship the same loving God. We learn this from the original yogi Narada Muni, who teaches us the art of worship. Ideally, we, with this thought, should try to find peace no matter where we are in the cycle of birth and death. We should promote peace to live with each other. Religion can be thought of as 'The Law of God', meaning, no one can avoid death of the physical body, that creation is made of feminine and masculine, which is birth. We eat, grow, create, and depart. This is religion. Laws that we can not change. We can not control God and the laws of creation, and preservation. This is religion. The Devi created time and fate and is the cause of everything with the combination of the Gunas.
The misunderstanding of tantra
There are many writings on this complex subject, (often tantra is used in the wrong way, and its true meaning not realized and it is made into something else, just like many other things in life), it is indeed complicated. It is often NOT what we think it is. The Sanskrit meaning of tantra is 'weave' denoting continuity. Actually it simply means that we bow our heads to God or that we lie our whole body on the floor to respect God. It simply means, we respect God, when we put our palms together to worship God, this is the 'Tantra'. We respect the creative energy of God, both male and female in God. We respect the symbolism of God, male and female. We are aware of the male and female energy that runs through us continually, that weaves, meaning continuity, we direct that energy into praying and purifying our soul. This worship causes that energy to become pure, through natural celibacy, prayer work, of years of time, and constant discipline. That is all. Everything is in the mind, we use our mind to worship God, (mantra of the tantra, tantra is the mantra). Tantra is in the Sanskrit mantra, which is thought placed, where and when needed, while working to improve certain aspects. This can also be Yoga Nidra, communion with Divine energy, or memory of our lives and finding our path. The tantra is worship of God, not the left handed path tantra. It clearly is to be understood that it is not about actually doing certain activities.
Procreation as an act as a holy gift.
In an ideal world in order to create a peaceful environment. It is important to understand that, we do not actually do things, unless we wish to create a child as a holy gift for God, and to bring up that child, in a loving home.
It is through wisdom, for the child to understand prayer and for the child to wish to receive the benefit of worshiping God.
Material death. Destiny and thoughts.
At the point of death (the death of the material body) the mind is very disturbed. There is a school of thought that suggests that, what ever we are thinking of, at the time of death, we go to that abode, we can also become that body. (like a bird or tree or other). So we must train the mind to think about Sree Sree Ma Jagad-dhatri always continually, during our mortal life. When it is our destiny to depart from our material body our disturbed mind has the ability to focus and concentrate on The Supreme Personality Of Godhead Mother Devi, and go spiritually to the spiritual abode of The Goddess Jagad-dhatri. This is the reason we spend our mortal life thinking about the Supreme Goddess. However, our main reason is to worship The Goddess, at all times, (no matter where we are in the cycle of birth and death. I.e. karma and destiny), simply because we are protected from negativity when we worship.
Many theories suggest that, the reason we are in the cycle of birth and death in the material world, is because in simple terms we need the time to learn to worship God. Then there is no more birth and death. The soul can not die, it simply goes through the learning process of becoming pure. To put it bluntly, our material, physical body breaks up, but our spiritual soul does not die.
Thoughts WE DECIDE to think, and the image WE DECIDE in our mind.
There is a school of thought that suggests, (if we try to remember memories of joy we feel joy, if we train our thoughts to think joy, we are in the moment of joy. Our thoughts go to the places and the ones we love. Therefore we are in that place, with those we love. We can bring those places and our loved ones with us. We have to train our thoughts to do this. Our thoughts are whom we are with. We push away those who we do not want to be with, in our minds, and we associate with those who we want to be with, in our minds. We converse with those we want to converse with. All with our thoughts).
Why everything is in the mind, understanding where our thoughts come from, why being positive is necessary, the power of the observer and memes.
Indeed everything is in the mind, a well known thought. It is a common phrase, "what is in your mind?"
Calming the mind. Everyone wishes to calm their own mind. It is all about being calm. The Upanisads talk about calming of the self, which leads to inner peace. Which is why we study these ancient texts. Understanding the power of the observer, and how many people are observing, the power or strength of the observer, or observers. This is a complex matter, why we think certain thoughts.
Helpful suggestions.
These answers can be found when we look into the quantum world, work out why the wave becomes broken. The power of the observer in the quantum world.
Memes.
Memes are powerful forms of thought which can be transmitted from mind to mind. Again belief in the self soul and being calm is the way to create a positive mental state.
Looking into the evolution of the one cell creatures. The effect of the prana that is passing through our bodies and brain affecting our minds. The food, fluid, and effect of medication and types of drugs and chemicals that change or affect our mind and thoughts. The positive effect of absence of food and water on the microfield in and around our bodies, brain and mind. There is a scientific link that deprivation of food makes the neurons recall past memories, causing flash backs to be cleared and healed. Which means, that fasting allows the person to sort out memories and heal.
Our lives are like plays. We are all actors with a part in a play. If we are able to spend some time in solitude as recommended in the Upanisads. We can analyze the play we are in and come out of the play. This helps us to become aware of the games played and manipulation techniques used in human behavior.
Learning how to divert the mind on to positive things. The calm positive power of non action.
When we put our energies into subjects like learning Sanskrit or playing a musical instrument, or reading about God, or simply quietly still. This "non action" and being calm, allows the negativity to dissolve in our own minds but also in the consciousness of the environment that is around us.
Summary.
This is a self study for all of us, and which would take a lot of writing to put here.
In short we need to learn to understand our thoughts, because they are often thoughts which have been transmitted from other peoples minds. In the form of social pressure, media and culture. Therefore to study the origin of consciousness gives us an insight to human behavior.
Avoiding the chaos of our society and human beings who have the behavior of the psychopath, i.e. those who lack consciousness.
We make our choices based on inner wisdom. Using logical reason based on evidence of facts to back our ideas. Sometimes evidence can be painful but it is there to remind us that it is in the past. But more importantly, that we did not imagine events which did actually take place in the past. Sometime we keep evidence for other positive reasons perhaps as a reassurance in our lives which can act as a protection, or to remind us of our innocence or to perhaps show reason for why humans act in certain ways. Or to learn how to stop war. Evidence shows us the terrible effects of war.
Evidence teaches us the difference between right and wrong, wrong doing needs to be understood as wrong and should not ignored, fear must be faced. We must respect facts and not shy from fact. For example we know the damage of the evil forces of Hitler and the concentration camps. We must learn from such terrible events. Learning about the horrible facts of war is not easy.
In terms of our private lives, evidence of personal facts is there only for the private individual to positively progress and for the individual to learn about the negative forces that arise in the material world and to become stronger, compassionate individuals. It is not necessary to expose facts which may cause further pain and problems. It is important to remove ourselves from chaos immediately. We do not make war just for the sake of war. We find ways to lead peaceful lives. By calm quietness, diplomacy and detachment, everything clears up eventually.
Being positive about ourselves is a good solution for all problems. The two keys to peace, suggested in the Upanisads, are mental independence and less involvement with chaos.
Keeping the faith in difficult times, putting our trust in God, allowing God to solve the problems in the right time.
In times of war, we can be reassured that God is there, that God does understand and is there to help us, in faith and prayer we receive positive thoughts through God. We can trust God, and know that in time all will be put right, we must leave everything in the hands of God at all times. We only need to read the holy texts to know this.
It is of great benefit to study the Vedas and especially The S'rimad Devi Bhagawatam, all three volums, and to try to learn Sanskrit, both reading and writing. If we are lucky to learn from a person who has high knowledge of God. This is indeed very fortunate. We must have a very deep respect for that person in order to learn from them and to be able to be open to accept their teaching of The Mother Goddess. Such teachers are very rare, but they do exist. Above all, we must have faith in order for the teaching to take place. Just thinking about Devi helps us. Devi is our beloved, all answers can be found by connecting to Devi through faith and worship.
The power of silence and solitude is strength and peace, which leads on to maturity and enlightenment.
Silence is a way of calming the body and allowing the mind to empty out the thoughts. In silence we slow down and are able to think clearly, thinking on faith and peace. Communicating with God which allows us to make positive decisions. A peace in silent solitude is God.
Destiny.
The school of thought on destiny, can be thought of as in terms of God giving us the strength to become positive. When we decide to do something positive it is because God has given us the motive to do something positive. Sometimes (though not always) our (destiny or difficulties) can arise through our past mistakes, like forgetting our connection to God, or perhaps becoming attached to false ideas or to disruptive paths or disruptive thought i.e. negative karma, which leads us to cry out to God for protection. This leads us to remember our love for God and to worship God. Then we have learned our lessons. (This is karma). We can be with God. Actually God is always with us, we need to learn that God is with us. This is our destiny, to always remember and worship God.
Memory. Breath and worshiping God.
Our breath is pure.
It is believed by many schools that. 'Our thoughts are actually what we are', and 'sometimes our thoughts are from other souls'. So we make our own thoughts calm, and we make sure our thoughts are from ourselves. We try very hard (even although it is very difficult) to forget the negative and we on purpose remember calm within and we think breath. As an experiment, when we hold our breath for long enough all our thoughts become one, that is, 'I must breath'. In that small moment we find peace. When we do this several times, we repeat moments of peace. This is one with God. So we always want to remember and worship the lotus feet of Sree Sree Ma Jagad-dhatri. This is why we pray and chant the names of God in the form of mantra, (Devi, Supreme Goddess Jagad-dhatri is the mantra, is everything), and read about the pastimes of Devi Jagad-dhatri. (If we wish, we can think of the Goddess Jagad-dhatri our mother).
Study of the Vedas. Stories. Myths. Theory. Texts, and fasting.
When we spend time searching for the truth and studying we eventually find our own path and our own meanings. In all the complex ideas and threads we find the understanding. No one can go wrong when worshiping God or thinking about God, no matter where we are from. We all need God. We all want things to get better.

Chanting is a prayer.
OM SHANTI. OM SHANTI. OM SHANTI.
Thus we are creating a place of peace when we chant. Our thoughts become positive and negativity is removed from within us and from the outside world around us. This is why we chant as much as we can. (Mentally chanting [silently] when going about our daily business and mentally chanting [silently] when in prayer).
Finding the meaning of the ancient Sanskrit texts.
The Vedas are considered the earliest record of the Indo-Aryan Civilization. The Upanisads are the philosophy. They were developed by the Brahmin priests and the Brahmin's in general. These texts remain the most comprehensive and universal of all ancient scriptures.
Veda means wisdom, knowledge or vision. Upanisad means, to sit close to.
Often when we look at the Sanskrit language and translate it, and see, realize, the meaning, we see God in everything, and in a universal form. From this we make our own relationship with God personal to our selves.
