Review translated and taken from the Bulgarian Times Sofia.
A rare event took place last week in Bulgaria Hall-a concert of the highest quality for an excellent cause. The young and very talented English violinist, Anakay Koshka, displayed her impressive skills in the concert hall, donating the proceeds to help mentally handicapped children in the Vidrare Orphanage. She was aided by the British Ambassador and his family.
The concert included works by Handel, Wienawski and the contemporary English composer Wilkins, but the highlight of the evening was a performance of the Bach Solo Sonata in G minor, a work rarely played because of its intense difficulty but in Bulgaria Hall given a superb performance. All participants, players, audience and children had reason to feel pleased about the success of the evening.
